Job title: Senior Rural Surveyor – Atherstone / Ashby Salary: £36,000 – £41,000 a year, depending on experience, plus car allowance  Job type: Full-time, permanent Location: Atherstone / Ashby-de-la-Zouch (with travel across the surrounding rural area) Take your rural career to the next level with a firm that landowners have trusted for over a century If you're an experienced rural surveyor who wants real responsibility, a varied caseload and a team that backs you, this is a strong move. Our client is an established, highly regarded firm of chartered surveyors, land agents and valuers with a strong Midlands presence and a loyal client base. They are looking for a Senior Rural Surveyor to join their Rural team in Atherstone and Ashby. The role You'll advise a mix of clients, from farmers and private landowners to buyers, developers and investors, and help them get the most from their land and property. You'll have support from experienced Partners and surveyors, and you'll be trusted to run your own caseload, use your initiative, and help shape the team's work. Your day-to-day could include: Property agency: take-ons, marketing, negotiations and sales progression RICS Red Book valuations across a range of rural property types Rural Payments Agency work, including BPS, CSS and other grant applications Land management, including FBTs, Grazing Licences, GK agreements and contract farming Planning applications Development, option and promotion agreements Farm dispersal, collective and fodder sales Your responsibility will keep growing, with larger clients and more complex instructions as you progress. About you MRICS qualified Proven experience across some or all of: agency, valuation, development and CPO work RICS Registered Valuer preferred, but not essential A genuine understanding of farming and the agricultural community A confident networker who builds strong, lasting relationships with clients and colleagues Accurate, organised and numerate, with good attention to detail and technology skills A team player who stays calm under pressure and takes the initiative Full, clean UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle What you'll get Salary of £36,000–£41,000, depending on experience Car allowance of around £3,600 a year Phone allowance of £360 a year 25 days' holiday, increasing with length of service Your birthday off Pension Life assurance at four times your salary Employee Assistance Programme with 24/7 GP access Enhanced sick pay Enhanced maternity and paternity pay How to apply Click Apply, or send your CV to Harry at (url removed).
