Are you looking for a stable, long-term site-based engineering role with a respected technology solutions provider? This is an excellent opportunity for either an experienced Photocopier / MFD Engineer or a semi-skilled engineer from an EPOS, ATM, IT hardware or similar electro-mechanical background to step into a supportive, structured environment.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys technical problem-solving, customer interaction, and working as part of a high-performing on-site support team.
About the Role
Working on-site, you'll provide hands-on support across a range of print and document technologies. You'll be responsible for diagnosing faults, completing repairs, carrying out routine maintenance, and ensuring equipment uptime for a key client location. You'll work closely with the wider engineering and service teams to maintain a high standard of service delivery and contribute to a positive customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and resolve technical faults on MFDs / photocopiers
- Support basic fault-finding across print and IT-connected devices
- Perform routine maintenance, updates, and component replacements
- Assist with equipment configuration and installations
- Work within agreed SLAs and maintain accurate service call logs
- Report recurring issues to support proactive resolution
- Maintain site stock levels and ensure parts are used efficiently
- Build strong working relationships with on-site users and support teams
- Attend manufacturer or in-house training to maintain technical proficiency
