We are currently recruiting for an experienced Refrigeration Engineer to join a growing team working primarily across major supermarket and retail accounts throughout Manchester. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer with commercial refrigeration experience looking to further develop their skills within the supermarket sector. The role will involve working on modern CO₂ refrigeration systems, with full training provided in hydrocarbon refrigerants for the right candidate.
The Role
- Service, maintenance and repair of commercial and supermarket refrigeration systems.
- Fault finding and breakdown response on refrigeration plant.
- Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) works.
- Working on CO₂ refrigeration equipment across supermarket environments.
- Participation in a 1-in-4 on-call rota.
- Completing service reports and maintaining high standards of customer service.
Requirements
- Experience working within commercial refrigeration.
- F-Gas Qualification.
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Experience with CO₂ systems would be advantageous but is not essential.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn new technologies.
