Full Job Description We’re working with an established iGaming business that is looking to appoint a Head of Games Design to lead its slot development function. The ideal candidate will combine strong knowledge of slot mathematics and game modelling with experience managing and developing a team. You’ll have a key role in shaping new games, from initial ideas through to launch, while ensuring they deliver both a strong player experience and solid commercial results. This is a hybrid role based in Manchester, with 2 days per week in the office. Day to Day: Manage and mentor a team of Games Designers Shape new slot concepts, features and gameplay Create and review slot maths, including RTP, hit rates and volatility Develop or oversee simulations and prototypes to test game outcomes Turn design and maths concepts into clear information for development teams Work alongside Product, Tech, Art and Maths teams throughout production Review player and game performance to identify areas for improvement Make sure games are delivered to the required quality and regulatory standards Key Requirements: 5+ years’ experience in Games Design, ideally within iGaming or online slots Strong knowledge of slot maths, probability, RTP and volatility Practical experience with game simulation and modelling C++ or C# experience, particularly around simulation/prototyping Previous experience leading and developing a Games Design team Good understanding of slot mechanics and player behaviour Able to communicate effectively with both technical and creative teams Commercially minded with a strong eye for quality Experience working on released slot games Benefits: Hybrid and flexible working (2 days onsite) Competitive salary of £70k–£100k DOE + bonus Generous holiday allowance plus bank holidays Enhanced pension scheme Private healthcare support Enhanced family leave policies Birthday leave Employee discount platform Career development opportunities within a growing global business If this sounds like the perfect opportunity for you, then apply now. #Lauren #REC1
