A leading Facilities Management company is looking for an experienced Commercial & Domestic Gas Engineer to join their growing team working across care homes and pub chains throughout the region. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Gas Engineer seeking a stable, long-term role with excellent earning potential, paid travel, and a well-managed local patch.
The Role
- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance, servicing, fault finding, and repairs across a portfolio of care homes and pub chains.
- Work on a variety of commercial and domestic gas systems while delivering high standards of compliance, safety, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Servicing and repairing commercial and domestic gas appliances.
- Planned preventative maintenance (PPM).
- Reactive breakdown response and fault finding.
- Working across care homes and hospitality sites.
- Ensuring all work complies with current gas safety regulations.
- Completing paperwork and reports accurately.
- Providing excellent customer service on client sites.
Package & Benefits
- £23 per hour up to 40 hours, £34.50 over 50 hours.
- 40-hour contracted week.
- All door-to-door travel paid on top.
- Any Bank Holidays and Sundays paid at double time £46 per hour.
- Company van and fuel card provided.
- Regional work kept within approximately 1.5 hours from home.
- Optional personal mileage scheme available.
- Overtime opportunities available.
- Stable, long-term Facilities Management contract work.
Requirements
- ACS Commercial & Domestic Gas Qualifications: CCN1, CENWAT, CODNCO1, CIGA1.
- Experience within Facilities Management preferred.
- Experience working within commercial environments such as care homes, hospitality, or retail.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
