We are recruiting on behalf of a long-established, nationally recognised commercial catering specialist with over 25 years of industry success. With a team of 30 multi-skilled engineers and an impressive 90% first-fix rate, they are known for quality, reliability and exceptional customer service. Due to continued growth, they are now seeking an experienced Commercial Catering Engineer to join their Midlands team.

The Role

  • You will be responsible for the service, maintenance and breakdown of a wide range of commercial catering equipment from leading manufacturers. Work will be carried out across service stations, airports, fast-food chains, restaurants and high-footfall commercial sites.

Key duties include:

  • Diagnosing and repairing commercial gas and electrical catering equipment
  • Carrying out routine PPM and reactive maintenance
  • Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with industry standards
  • Providing excellent customer service and clear communication on every visit

Experience & Qualifications Required

  • COMCAT 1, 3 & 5 - Essential
  • Full UK Driving Licence - Essential
  • Proven experience working on commercial catering equipment
  • Electrical experience beneficial but not essential

Package Overview

  • Up to £45,000 basic salary
  • 40-hour week
  • Paid door-to-door
  • 25 days holiday + 8 bank holidays
  • Extra day annual leave after 5 years' service
  • Transit Custom Van + Fuel Card
  • Smartphone, Tablet & Uniform provided
  • On-call rota: 1 in 4
  • £100 standby payment
  • Overtime at enhanced rates

Overtime:

  • Time and a half (Mon-Sat)
  • Double time (Sundays & Bank Holidays)
