We're looking for an experienced Field Service Engineer to provide high‑quality technical support across a range of Print products. This role focuses on delivering exceptional service, minimising downtime, and ensuring customers receive a smooth, professional experience. We are open to those from Photocopier / MFD backgrounds or someone open to upskilling from an electrical / electronics background.
What You'll Be Doing
- Delivering professional, efficient maintenance and repair services to ensure full customer satisfaction.
- Installing, maintaining, and repairing equipment in line with service level agreements.
- Identifying potential business and professional service opportunities while carrying out day‑to‑day duties.
- Managing and controlling vehicle stock to improve first‑time fix rates and minimise losses.
- Performing both indoor and outdoor technical installations.
What You'll Bring
- Electrical / Electronics aptitude (qualification desirable but not essential).
- Knowledge of AC (230V) and DC (5V-24V) systems and ability to use a multimeter for troubleshooting.
- Strong fault‑finding and diagnostic skills across electrical and mechanical systems.
- PC literacy — able to upload/download software and use configuration tools.
- Mechanical aptitude and understanding of technical diagrams and schematics.
- Excellent communication and customer‑handling skills.
- Good Ricoh product knowledge and familiarity with company service procedures.
