ROLE: PPD Print Production / Industrial Print
LOCATION: Central Belt - Scotland - 4 week shift cycle - OTE up to £50,000
We are looking for an experienced Field Service Engineer to provide high‑quality technical support across a range of Production Print products. This role focuses on delivering exceptional service, minimizing downtime, and ensuring customers receive a smooth, professional experience.
Responsibilities
- Deliver technical service, maintenance, and repair across Production Print equipment
- Carry out installations and de‑installations, ensuring all project milestones are met efficiently
- Keep customers updated on progress and ensure a positive service experience
- Escalate technical issues promptly
- Identify opportunities for additional services or revenue while on customer sites
- Build strong customer relationships
- Manage and maintain vehicle stock
Qualifications
- Strong technical knowledge of Production Print and/or Industrial Print devices
- Excellent fault‑finding and problem‑solving skills
- Confident using diagnostic tools and reading complex technical instructions
- IT literacy and basic networking capabilities
- Strong communication skills
Shift Patterns
- Week 1 - Early Shift: 6:00am - 2:00pm
- Week 2 - Evening Shift: 4:30pm - 12:00am or 2:00pm - 10:00pm
- Week 3 - Day shift: 8.30am - 5.30pm
- Week 4 - Night Shift: 12:00am - 8:30am
- 1 in 4 weekend rota
- No shifts or weekends apply until full training is completed and the engineer is fully up to speed.
