- We are recruiting for a skilled
- Air Conditioning Engineer to join an established HVAC business covering
Peterborough and the surrounding areas .
This is a fantastic opportunity to work across a wide range of commercial sites, carrying out service, maintenance, fault finding and occasional installation work on air conditioning systems.
The role also includes a small amount of commercial refrigeration work . Previous refrigeration experience is beneficial but not essential , making this an ideal opportunity for an experienced AC engineer looking to broaden their skill set.
The Role
- Servicing, maintaining and repairing commercial air conditioning systems.
- Diagnosing and resolving mechanical and electrical faults.
- Working on split systems, multi-splits, VRV and VRF equipment.
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive breakdowns.
- Completing occasional installation work where required.
- Undertaking a small amount of commercial refrigeration work.
- Providing a high standard of customer service across commercial sites.
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and in accordance with industry standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an
- Air Conditioning Engineer ,
- HVAC Engineer , or
Air Conditioning Service Engineer .
- Strong experience servicing, maintaining and fault finding on commercial air conditioning systems.
- Valid F-Gas certification.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Good fault‑finding and diagnostic skills.
- Excellent customer‑facing communication.
Desirable (but not essential)
- Experience working on commercial refrigeration equipment.
