We are recruiting for an experienced Electrician / Maintenance Electrician to join a leading international facilities management company in Milton Keynes. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Commercial Electrician with experience in electrical maintenance, PPMs, reactive maintenance, fault finding, testing and inspection, and repairs across commercial buildings. The successful Electrician will work across retail sites, office buildings and commercial properties carrying out planned and reactive electrical maintenance.

Salary & Benefits

  • Up to £45,000 basic salary
  • Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 4:00pm
  • 40-hour week
  • 1 in 7 call‑out rota
  • Travel time paid after 30 minutes each way

Key Duties

  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on electrical systems
  • Complete reactive electrical maintenance and emergency repairs
  • Fault finding on electrical systems and equipment
  • Electrical testing and inspection
  • Maintenance of lighting, power, distribution boards, emergency lighting and fire alarm systems
  • Repair and replacement of wiring, switches, sockets, circuit breakers and control panels
  • Complete compliance paperwork and maintenance reports

Requirements

  • NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation or equivalent
  • 18th Edition
  • 2391 Testing & Inspection preferred
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Experience as an Electrician, Maintenance Electrician, Commercial Electrician or Electrical Maintenance Engineer
  • Experience working in facilities management, building services or commercial maintenance
