Role: MFD / Photocopier Field Service Engineer
Location: Lancashire / North West
The Role:
- Service, maintain, and repair photocopiers, printers, and MFDs
- Install and commission new devices at customer sites
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network faults
- Configure devices including print drivers, scanning, and connectivity
- Set up scan‑to‑email, scan‑to‑folder, and print workflows
- Maintain service records and deliver excellent customer support
Skills & Experience Required:
- Proven experience as a Photocopier / Printer Field Service Engineer
- Strong fault‑finding ability (mechanical, electrical, IT)
- Good understanding of IT systems including:
- Windows environments
- TCP/IP networking
- Print drivers and print servers
- Experience with leading brands (Canon, Ricoh, Kyocera etc.)
- Ability to work independently in a field‑based role
- Full UK driving licence
Desirable Skills:
- Knowledge of uniFLOW, PaperCut or similar print management software
