We are recruiting for an experienced Fire & Security Engineer to join a rapidly expanding team supporting major supermarket and retail clients across the Oxfordshire region.
This is an ideal opportunity for an engineer with Fire & Security experience who wants to develop further within a stable, well‑structured national contract.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned, reactive and statutory maintenance across Fire & Security systems in line with customer KPIs (response, repair, first‑fix, closure).
- Complete all PPM tasks within agreed timescales, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with company procedures.
- Deliver maintenance and repairs on CCTV (IP & analogue) and Fire Alarm systems across supermarket sites.
- Respond promptly to Helpdesk service calls during normal working hours and participate in the on‑call rota.
- Identify non‑repairable faults and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
- Ensure all work meets contractual obligations.
Essential
- GCSE standard education
- Electrical competency qualification (NVQ / City & Guilds)
- Experience with CCTV IP/analogue systems
- Experience with Fire Alarm systems
- Full UK driving licence
- Ability to work independently with strong communication skills
- Ability to distinguish colours for electrical/electronic work
Desirable
- IPAF licence (training can be provided)

- £39,199.29 basic salary (inclusive of standby payment) - 42.5 hour week
