You will be responsible for the service, maintenance, repair and fault‑finding of a wide range of commercial catering equipment across our customer sites. This is a field‑based, customer‑facing position where you'll represent the business and deliver high‑quality engineering support.
Key Responsibilities
- Service, maintenance and repair of commercial catering equipment
- Electrical and gas fault‑finding
- Diagnosing breakdowns and completing reactive repairs
- Providing excellent customer service on client sites
- Ensuring all work is carried out safely and to industry standards
Essential Qualifications & Experience
- COMCAT 1, 2, 3 & 5
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Relevant electrical experience (18th Edition, HNC, NVQ, City & Guilds - advantageous)
- LPG & FGAS Refrigeration (advantageous but not essential)
- Strong background in commercial catering equipment servicing
Package & Benefits
- Basic Salary: up to £45,000
- 40‑hour working week
- Door‑to‑door travel paid
- On‑call rota: 1 in 8
- £70 on‑call allowance
- Overtime paid at enhanced rates
- Overtime Rates: 1.5x after 5pm Monday-Friday, 2x on Sundays & Bank Holidays
- £750 annual sick pay bonus (£150 per unused sick day)

- 22 days holiday + 8 bank holidays (rising to 25 days after 5 years)
