You will be responsible for the service, maintenance, repair and fault‑finding of a wide range of commercial catering equipment across our customer sites. This is a field‑based, customer‑facing position where you'll represent the business and deliver high‑quality engineering support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Service, maintenance and repair of commercial catering equipment
  • Electrical and gas fault‑finding
  • Diagnosing breakdowns and completing reactive repairs
  • Providing excellent customer service on client sites
  • Ensuring all work is carried out safely and to industry standards

Essential Qualifications & Experience

  • COMCAT 1, 2, 3 & 5
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Relevant electrical experience (18th Edition, HNC, NVQ, City & Guilds - advantageous)
  • LPG & FGAS Refrigeration (advantageous but not essential)
  • Strong background in commercial catering equipment servicing

Package & Benefits

  • Basic Salary: up to £45,000
  • 40‑hour working week
  • Door‑to‑door travel paid
  • On‑call rota: 1 in 8
  • £70 on‑call allowance
  • Overtime paid at enhanced rates
  • Overtime Rates: 1.5x after 5pm Monday-Friday, 2x on Sundays & Bank Holidays
  • £750 annual sick pay bonus (£150 per unused sick day)
  • Gift voucher reward scheme
  • 22 days holiday + 8 bank holidays (rising to 25 days after 5 years)
  • Company Van (Peugeot Expert) + Fuel Card (Personal use permitted)
