About the Role
You’ll deliver professional, efficient technical support across a range of MFDs and photocopiers, ensuring timely fault resolution and high‑quality maintenance. Working both independently and as part of a wider engineering team, you’ll contribute to a strong service culture built on collaboration, knowledge‑sharing, and customer focus.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver technical support within agreed SLA timeframes
- Diagnose and resolve faults efficiently and accurately
- Perform routine maintenance, updates, and modifications
- Assist with equipment installations and configuration
- Understand and adhere to SLAs for assigned accounts
- Carry out basic fault finding across managed print solutions
- Provide cover for colleagues during absence or peak periods
- Log service calls accurately and promptly
- Report recurring faults to support proactive resolution
- Share technical knowledge with team members
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts
- Manage boot stock and site stock levels effectively
- Attend manufacturer training to maintain technical proficiency
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Proven experience in field‑based technical support within the MFD/photocopier/print sector or alternatively someone with transferable skills within EPOS / IT Hardware / ATM or similar
- Strong logical fault‑finding and problem‑solving skills
- Excellent communication and customer‑facing ability
- Confident working independently while contributing to a high‑performing team
