Salary: GBP16.5 - GBP20 per annum
Class 1 Driver immediate start in Tewkesbury.
Class 1 Driver's Pay rates:
- Days: £16.50 per hour Monday to Friday PAYE ONLY
- Nights: £17.50 per hour Monday to Friday PAYE ONLY
Hourly pay rate is £17.50 and you will accrue £2.11 per hour in holiday pay for every hour worked, which is banked and paid to you when you take annual leave.
Class 1 Night Drivers required immediately for temporary work. Our client specialises in distributing fresh milk and dairy products across the UK. Customers in Tewkesbury are large clients in Gloucestershire and are known for treating drivers well. Drivers will be required to work Monday to Friday and weekends.
Duties of a Class 1 Driver:
- Easy trunking to an RDC
- Store deliveries of cages
- Flexibility to work different contracts
- Ability to undertake manual handling
The ideal HGV Class 1 driver will:
- Have a valid HGV C+E Class 1 Driving License
- 6 months experience is preferred but not essential
- Valid CPC Card
- Valid Digital Card
- Clean Driving License with no more than 6 points (No TT TS MS DR DD codes)
Start times can vary but we are looking for Class 1 Drivers on nights who are available to start around 04:00 to 08:00. Shifts can be long (up to 10 to 12 hours per shift on average).
