About the Role
Pure Staff are recruiting for a Van Driver on behalf of a well-established business operating within the automotive distribution sector. This is an excellent opportunity for a Van Driver seeking ongoing, long-term work with a professional employer that values its workforce and regularly offers permanent employment opportunities.
Based in Manchester, the successful Van Driver will be responsible for the delivery of automotive parts to businesses and garages across the local area.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Complete multi-drop deliveries of automotive parts to commercial customers
- Carry out typically 6 to 8 deliveries per shift
- Safely load, unload and handball products as required
- Complete all delivery paperwork accurately using an electronic POD device
- Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any defects promptly
- Deliver excellent customer service at every delivery location
- Follow all health and safety procedures and driving regulations
Shift Pattern
- Monday to Friday
- Start times available between 04:00 and 12:00
- Flexible start times may be available depending on operational requirements
- Typical shift lengths between 8 and 12 hours
- Long-term ongoing work available
- No regular weekend working
Requirements
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Previous Van Driver experience preferred
- Comfortable with heavy lifting and manual handling duties
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to complete electronic delivery paperwork accurately
- Reliable and professional attitude
- Strong awareness of road safety regulations
