Pure Staff are currently recruiting for a HGV Class 2 Driver to join our trusted client in the Bristol area. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver looking for consistent Monday to Friday work with a well-established logistics operation.
This role offers regular start times, ongoing work and the opportunity to secure permanent employment with the client for the right candidate.
Pay Rates
Monday to Friday
- £16.97 per hour (PAYE)
- £19.02 per hour including holiday pay
Holiday Pay
- Holiday entitlement is accrued separately in line with PAYE regulations.
- Rolled-up holiday pay is not available for this vacancy.
About the Role
Working within the logistics and transport industry, this HGV Class 2 Driver position involves delivering and installing equipment at customer premises as part of a two-person crew. The role combines professional driving duties with customer-facing responsibilities and offers full training for installation tasks.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Heavy handball work as part of a two-person delivery team
- Delivery and installation of printers at customer locations
- Full installation training provided
- Occasional installation of secure parcel locker units
- Ensuring all deliveries and installations are completed safely and efficiently
- Providing excellent customer service at every delivery point
- Completing delivery paperwork and records accurately
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects
- Adhering to all driving regulations and company procedures
Shift Pattern
- Monday to Friday
- Typical shifts of 10-12 hours per day
- Consistent weekly hours available
Requirements
- Valid Category C (Class 2) Licence
- Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card
- Ability to undertake heavy lifting and handball work
- Professional and reliable approach to work
- Strong understanding of driver hours and road transport regulations
