Pure Staff are currently recruiting for a Transport Administrator Nights role on behalf of a well-established logistics and distribution operation based in the Evesham area. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrator looking to join a busy transport office and become part of a professional and supportive team.
This role offers regular night shifts, ongoing work and the opportunity to secure a permanent position for the right candidate.
Pay Rates
PAYE Rates
- Monday to Friday: £13.54 per hour
- Saturday: £13.54 per hour
- Sunday / Bank Holiday: £13.54 per hour
PAYE Rates Including Holiday Pay
- Monday to Friday: £15.17 per hour
- Saturday: £15.17 per hour
- Sunday / Bank Holiday: £15.17 per hour
Holiday pay is accrued separately and paid in line with PAYE regulations. Rolled-up holiday pay is not available for this vacancy.
About the Role
Our client operates a fast-paced transport and logistics environment and is looking for a reliable Transport Administrator Nights professional to support the smooth running of the transport operation. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a busy office environment, has strong organisational skills and can communicate effectively with drivers, customers and internal teams.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Monitoring vehicle movements throughout the shift
- Providing support and assistance to drivers
- Updating transport management and scheduling systems
- Processing delivery and collection paperwork
- Communicating with drivers, customers and internal departments
- Recording vehicle and driver information accurately
- Assisting with route planning and transport-related queries
- Ensuring all documentation is completed and filed correctly
- Supporting the efficient running of the night transport operation
Shift Pattern
- Thursday to Sunday
- Night shifts
- 19:30 – 07:30
- Ongoing work available
- Long-term opportunities available
Requirements
- Previous administration experience preferred
- Strong organisational and time management abilities
- Good IT and data entry skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- High attention to detail
- Reliable and professional approach to work
- Previous transport or logistics experience beneficial but not essential
