Packhouse Coordinator Permanent Evesham, Worcestershire Posted 2 days ago £28000 - £31000 per annum
Overview
We're looking for someone practical and capable who is comfortable across quality, stock and production coordination rather than a pure QC or pure warehouse person.
Duties
- Checking inbound and packed fruit, understanding customer specifications, spotting deterioration or defects, issuing QC reports and escalating issues quickly.
- Maintaining accurate stock visibility by product, grower, lot, age and allocation, and flagging ageing or excess stock before it becomes a problem.
- Working day to day with the packhouse team to ensure clear visibility on what is being packed, when, for which customer, and whether anything is going off plan.
- Checking labels, pallet builds, quantities and customer requirements before dispatch. - Proactively updating the team on what is physically happening rather than waiting to be asked.

- Good oral and written communication skills

- People skills, including the ability to inspire, lead and motivate a team of people, delegate work and explain ideas
