Position: Trainee AutoCAD Technician

Location: Burton-on-Trent
Salary: £15.00 – £17.00 per hour (depending on experience)
Pure Staff are currently recruiting for a Trainee AutoCAD Technician on behalf of our fantastic and long-standing client based in Burton-on-Trent. Your Role as a Trainee AutoCAD Technician
- Producing accurate 2D and, where required, 3D drawings using AutoCAD.
- Preparing detailed technical drawings, layouts, plans, elevations and construction details.
- Interpreting engineering, architectural and technical specifications.
- Amending and updating drawings in line with design changes and project requirements.
- Maintaining drawing registers, revisions and document control.
- Ensuring drawings comply with relevant standards, specifications and company procedures.
- Liaising with engineers, designers, project managers, clients and contractors as required.
- Checking drawings for accuracy, consistency and completeness before issue.
- Assisting with the preparation of project documentation and technical information.
- Managing multiple drawings and projects while meeting agreed deadlines.
- Maintaining organised electronic drawing files and records.
- Supporting the Technical Team in the development and delivery of technical passive fire protection details using AutoCAD software.
- Learning and developing within a fast-paced working environment.
Requirements
- No previous AutoCAD experience required as training will be provided.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work efficiently and manage workloads effectively.
- Reliable, punctual and hard-working.
- Full UK Driving Licence essential.
Pay & Shifts
- £15.00 – £17.00 per hour depending on experience.
- 37.5 paid hours per week.
- Temporary to Permanent opportunity.
- Monday to Friday working pattern.
- 09:00-17:00
