HGV Class 2 Driver – Early Starts – RDC & Store Deliveries – Up to £19.05ph
Pure Staff Birmingham are currently recruiting for a HGV Class 2 Driver on behalf of our well-established customer based in the Bilston area. Offering regular Monday to Friday work, excellent rates of pay and the option of rolled-up holiday pay, this is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Class 2 Driver seeking ongoing work with a highly regarded food distribution business.
Our customer is a long-established and respected poultry supplier within the UK food manufacturing and distribution sector, supplying major retail, food service and commercial customers nationwide.

The Role – HGV Class 2 Driver
As a HGV Class 2 Driver, you will be completing national deliveries to RDCs and retail stores. This HGV Class 2 Driver role involves between 1 and 3 drops per day, providing a manageable workload while maintaining excellent earning potential.
Duties will include:
- Delivering goods to RDCs and stores nationwide
- Operating a tail lift safely and professionally
- Completing and obtaining POD documentation
- Carrying out collections when required
- Conducting daily vehicle checks
- Maintaining excellent customer service standards on-site
- Following all driver hours and road transport regulations
Shift Pattern
- Monday to Friday
- Start times between 02:00 and 07:00
- Typical shifts ranging from 8 to 12 hours
- Optional weekend shifts available
- Regular ongoing work throughout the year
What We’re Looking For
To be considered for this Class 2 Driver position, you will require:
- Category C / Class 2 / LGV C / HGV C Licence
- Valid CPC Qualification Card
- Digital Tachograph Card
- Good understanding of driver hours and WTD regulations
- Professional and customer-focused attitude
- Reliable and punctual approach to work
