Pure Staff's Driving Team are currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers to support one of our long-standing customers based in Bilston. Immediate starts are available for reliable HGV Class 1 Drivers looking for a consistent Friday to Monday night shift working pattern with one of the UK's leading food manufacturing and distribution businesses.
Our customer is one of the UK's leading poultry processing and food manufacturing companies, supplying fresh and frozen chicken products to major supermarkets, food manufacturers and food-service providers nationwide. This role is ideal for drivers who prefer working nights while enjoying a regular Friday to Monday working pattern, leaving Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday free every week.
Drivers will complete 1 to 3 RDC deliveries or collections per shift using modern refrigerated trailers, transporting temperature-controlled products on professionally planned nationwide routes. Typical night shift start times available at around 17:00 and 01:00 to 03:00, with average shift lengths of around 10 hours, occasionally longer. This is genuine ongoing work with excellent temporary to permanent opportunities for dependable drivers.
Rates for an HGV Class 1 Driver:
- Monday to Friday (Nights) = £18.00ph (+ holiday accrued) or £20.17ph (with holiday pay rolled up)
- Saturday (Nights) = £19.00ph (+ holiday accrued) or £21.29ph (with holiday pay rolled up)
- Sunday & Bank Holidays (Nights) = £20.00ph (+ holiday accrued) or £22.41ph (with holiday pay rolled up)
