About the Role
Pure Staff are recruiting experienced 7.5 Tonne Day Drivers for a well-established automotive distribution operation based in the Portbury area. Duties and Responsibilities
As a 7.5 Tonne Day Driver, your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering automotive parts to commercial customers throughout the region
- Completing approximately 4 to 6 deliveries per shift
- Carrying out occasional collections where required
- Loading and unloading goods safely and efficiently
- Completing handball and heavy lifting duties
- Using electronic POD devices to accurately complete delivery paperwork
- Conducting daily vehicle checks and ensuring compliance with transport regulations
Shift Pattern
- Monday to Friday
- Ongoing work available
- Typical start times between 06:00 and 09:00
- Shift lengths typical between 8 and 12 hours
- Weekend shifts available when required
Requirements
To be considered for this 7.5 Tonne Day Driver role, you must have:
- Valid Category C1 (7.5 Tonne) Driving Licence
- Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous commercial driving experience preferred
- Good understanding of driver hours and working time regulations
- Ability to complete physically demanding deliveries and heavy lifting
- Strong attention to detail when completing delivery documentation
- Professional and reliable attitude
