Pure Staff are currently recruiting for a Trainee Process Technician for our reputable client based in Tewkesbury. Immediate starts are available following a successful interview process.
Our client is a well-established dairy company, known for its high standards in production and hygiene. This is a physically active role involving both indoor and outdoor work, with the opportunity to progress to a permanent position.
Your role as a Trainee Process Technician:
- Overseeing and facilitating the safe and hygienic loading/unloading of bulk dairy products
- Cleaning silos and vessels, and organising silo plans to optimise storage and productivity
- Liaising with tanker drivers and third parties to ensure efficient workflow
- Operating machinery and equipment safely, in line with environmental and safety standards
- Handling chemicals safely and complying with COSHH, HACCP, and company policies
- Maintaining high hygiene standards in both personal and workplace practices
- Supporting and mentoring team members as needed
- Flexibly covering other roles as required by the business
Requirements:
- Physically fit and comfortable working in both indoor and outdoor environments
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to hygiene and safety standards
- Ability to work collaboratively with other departments and third parties
- Willingness to train and support other team members
- Reliable and punctual
- Available to work flexible shifts including weekends
Pay & Shifts:
£14.54 per hour. Shift patterns include:
- Weekdays: 05:00-13:00, 09:00-17:00, 13:00-Finish
- Sundays: 06:00-Finish (typically 10-11 hour shifts)
You will be expected to work all of these shift patterns throughout your working week. Sunday to Saturday shift rotation.
