Pure Staff are currently recruiting for an Engineering Shift Team Leader for our client based in Tewkesbury. Our client are specialists in the supply of dairy products throughout the UK. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to be part of a well-established business.
Your Role as an Engineering Shift Team Leader
- To support the Engineering Manager in delivering departmental goals
- Effectively utilising team skills; supervising, training, and mentoring staff via practical instruction
- Coordinating and delivering planned, preventative maintenance schedules
- The repairing and testing of electrical and mechanical plant equipment
- Fault finding
- Assistance with office work, paperwork and record keeping
- Mentoring of Apprenticeship candidates where applicable
- Deputising for the Engineering Manager
- Holiday cover for Engineers and support staff
- Equipment breakdown call-out on a rota basis
Requirements
- A minimum of an electrical based, apprenticeship qualification
- Experience of high-speed machinery, ideally within an FMCG industry
- Experience of working with automated machinery
- Experience of supervision and people management
Pay & Shifts
£20.51 per hour depending on experience
Week 1: Monday to Saturday 06:00- 14:00
Week 2: Monday to Friday 13:45- 21:45
