Pure Staff are currently recruiting for a Steel Worker to join a well-established company based in Bilston. The client specialises in galvanising steel, working primarily with fencing and metal products to prepare them for zinc coating, giving a durable metallic finish. This is a hands-on, physically demanding role suitable for candidates with factory or metal-working experience.
Your Role
- Preparing steel products for the galvanisation process
- Loading steel onto jigs/hooks ready for zinc coating
- Carrying out heavy manual handling tasks
- Working with metal products within a factory environment
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work area
- Adhering to all Health & Safety procedures
Requirements
- Previous factory or industrial experience essential
- Experience working with metals highly desirable
- Physically fit and comfortable with heavy manual work
- Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team
- Good awareness of Health & Safety procedures
Pay & Shifts
£14.51 per hour
Sunday - Thursday
Shift Times:
- Sunday & Monday: 22:00 - 06:00
- Tuesday - Thursday: 00:00 - 08:00
