Transport Clerk - required for an immediate start in Patchway on a temp-perm basis. Pure Staff are recruiting for a Transport Clerk working shifts starting at 13:00 till 22:00 based in the Daventry area. Our customer is looking for a Transport Clerk who is looking for a Monday to Friday shift pattern on a temp-perm basis.
Pay rates: Monday to Friday paid at £13.10ph PAYE. Candidates of Pure Staff do not pay weekly Umbrella Margins and/or Payroll Processing Fees.
Duties of the Transport Clerk:
- Complete bookings
- Allocating drivers to the two-man crew network and general haulage operations
- Complete daily driver KPIs
- Keep close contact with all drivers to ensure bookings are completed and drivers are complying with legal compliance
- Speaking with clients/customers
The ideal Candidate:
- Previous transport experience in carrying out above duties is preferred
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong understanding of transport processes and legal requirements
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment with ability to multi-task
- Flexible to cover holidays and sicknesses
