Class 1 HIAB Driver Required in Telford - PERMANENT ROLE
Pure Staff have a fantastic permanent opportunity for a qualified Class 1 HIAB Driver in Telford. Pure Staff specialise in the recruitment of HGV drivers for the logistics distribution and supply chain industry and have clients based all over England, Wales and Scotland.
Our Client specialise in the construction and civil engineering sector and are one of the largest in the UK working with local councils as well as on private projects and they are looking for a Class 1 HIAB Driver to join their current fleet of drivers.
Pay rate for the Class 1 HIAB Driver: £44,128.28 (approximately) per annum
The shift pattern for this position is Monday to Friday, start times are between 6/7am and usual finish at 1700.
Job Specifications:
- Operating HGV vehicles fitted with crane and hook loader
- Safe loading, unloading, and transportation of plant machinery and materials
- Working closely with site teams and transport planners
- Ensuring all deliveries comply with health & safety regulations
- Average shift is 8-10 hours
- Daily Vehicle checks
- A professional manner when dealing with the end customer
- Always wearing the correct PPE whilst working (safety Boots and Hi-Vis)
The ideal candidate:
- HGV Class 1 or Class 2 Licence, Class 1 would be an advantage
- A Valid Digital tacho card
- A Valid CPC
- Lorry Loader crane certificate, preferably with a minimum 2 years' experience
- Hook loader experience would be an advantage
- Load binding and load security experience
- Construction site experience preferred
- Good knowledge of the road networks
- Reliable, professional, and safety-focused attitude
- Clean Driving Licence with no more than 6 points (No TT TS MS DR DD codes)
