HGV Class 1 Driver on nights shifts for immediate starts in Irlam paying Β£20ph.

HGV Class 1 Driver Pay rates-

Nights: Β£20 per hour Monday to Friday

Please note, the above rate quoted does not include holiday pay as holiday pay is paid separately when you book holiday.

Your hourly pay rate is Β£20 and you will accrue Β£2.41 per hour in holiday pay for every hour worked, which is banked and paid to you when you take annual leave. We do this to make sure our drivers are fairly paid and encouraged to take proper time off work as we believe regular rest is essential for safety and mental wellbeing of all workers.

Start times will be from 22:00 each day. Shifts can be long but in keeping with tachograph laws they will be up to 10 to 12 hours per shift on average.

Duties of HGV Class 1 Driver-

  • Trunk run to Glasgow and back
  • No handball
  • Monday to Friday shifts
  • Night shifts

The customer is looking for Class 1 Drivers who are able to do Monday to Friday shifts, no weekends.

The ideal HGV Class 1 Driver will have-

  • A valid HGV C+E Class 1 Driving License
  • A minimum of 6 Months experience is essential
  • Valid CPC Card
  • Valid Digital Card
  • Clean Driving License with no more than 6 points (No TT TS MS DR DD) codes.
