Class 1 Driver Required - £16.50 Per Hour - ONGOING

Pure Staff have a fantastic ONGOING opportunity for a qualified HGV Class 1 Driver in Cullompton. Pure Staff specialise in the recruitment of HGV drivers for the logistics distribution and supply chain industry and have clients based all over England, Wales and Scotland. We offer drivers work that suits their needs, suitability, and personal lives.

Your hourly pay rate is £16.50 and you will accrue £1.99 per hour in holiday pay for every hour worked, which is banked and paid to you when you take annual leave. We do this to make sure our drivers are fairly paid and encouraged to take proper time off work as we believe regular rest is essential for safety and mental wellbeing of all workers.

The shift pattern for this position is Monday to Friday usually starting around 04:00 - 06:00. This role is multidrop deliveries (around 10 per day) and you will be delivering cages. Saturday available at £18.25 per hour.

Job Specifications of a Class 1 Driver:
  • Multidrop collections/deliveries offload cages to stores
  • £16.00 per hour
  • Average shift is 10-12 hours
  • Daily Vehicle checks
  • A professional manner when dealing with the end customer
  • Always Wearing the correct PPE whilst working (safety Boots and Hi-Vis)
The ideal candidate:
  • HGV Class 1 Licence
  • A Valid Digital tacho card
  • A Valid CPC
  • Clean Driving Licence with no more than 6 points (No TT TS MS DR DD codes)
