Class 2 Driver for immediate starts in Grays – temp to perm

Pure Staff are looking for an experienced Class 2 Driver to work alongside one of our clients in Grays on a temp-perm basis.

Pay rates:

Monday to Friday Β£17.50ph

Please note, the above rate quoted does not include holiday pay as that is paid separately when you book holiday.

Your hourly pay rate is Β£17.50, and you will accrue Β£2.11 per hour in holiday pay for every hour worked, which is banked and paid to you when you take annual leave. We do this to make sure our drivers are fairly paid and encouraged to take proper time off work as we believe regular rest is essential for safety and mental wellbeing of all workers

Duties of the Class 2 Driver –

  • Mixture of Class 2 and 7.5t driving
  • Collection of waste from supermarkets in 240 Litre bin
  • Loading waste onto lorry with use of tail lift- handball on all deliveries
  • Monday to Friday working week
  • Day shifts

Start times will be from 05.00am Monday to Friday- no weekends required.

Our client will be accepting a Class 2 Driver who fits the criteria listed below.

The ideal Class 2 Driver will have –

  • Have a valid HGV Class 2 Driving License
  • Previous experience preferred
  • Successful interview
  • Valid CPC Card
  • Valid Digital Card
  • Clean Driving License with no more than 3 points (No TT TS MS DR DD codes)
