HGV Class 1 Tramper Driver for immediate starts in Hereford. Pure Staff are recruiting for a HGV Class 1 Tramper Driver for the following role below.

Pay rates:

  • Days: Monday to Friday £16.50 Per Hour
  • Nights: Monday to Friday £19.25 Per Hour
  • Night out: £25.00 per night out for any tramping work

Your hourly pay rate is £16.50 and you will accrue £1.99 per hour in holiday pay for every hour worked, which is banked and paid to you when you take annual leave. We do this to make sure our drivers are fairly paid and encouraged to take proper time off work as we believe regular rest is essential for safety and mental wellbeing of all workers.

Duties of the HGV Class 1 Tramper Driver:

  • Trunking to RDC's and other depots
  • No handball involved apart from pulling the curtain back
  • Monday to Friday nights out
  • Modern, well looked after trucks
  • A positive mentality

We require HGV Class 1 Tramper Drivers immediately for temporary work for a client who specialises in distributing alcoholic beverages across the whole of the UK. Our customer in Hereford is one of our largest clients based in the Herefordshire area and are well known for treating their drivers well from previous and current positive feedback. We are looking for both drivers who are interested in tramping Monday to Friday but also drivers who are happy to work day and night shifts.

Our client will be accepting a Class 1 Tramper Driver who fits the criteria listed below:

  • Have a valid HGV C+E Class 1 Driving License
  • 6 Months experience is essential for this role
  • Valid CPC Card
  • Valid Digital Card
  • Clean Driving License with no more than 6 points (No TT TS MS DR DD) codes

Shifts can be long but in keeping with tachograph law up to 10 to 12 hours per shift on average.
