Pay Rate: £12.21
Shift Pattern: 50-hour work week, including weekends (12 days on, 2 days off)
Daily hours: 4 to 5 hours between 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM
Key Responsibilities:
- General care and welfare of chickens
- Daily cleaning and sanitation tasks
- Removal of deceased livestock
- Monitoring and maintaining adequate food and water supply
- Practicing good stockmanship
- Reporting any health or welfare concerns promptly
Requirements:
- Full UK driving licence
- Physically fit and reliable
- Willingness to work weekends and long hours
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Desirable (but not essential):
- Experience operating tractors and loaders
- Previous farm work or livestock experience
Training:
Full training provided on site, including animal welfare and equipment use.
