Join Pure Staff and become part of our long-term, trusted partnership with a well-established fabrication and steelwork company operating in Witton, Birmingham. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly experienced Fabricator Welder looking for stable, well-paid weekday work with a respected manufacturer covering architectural metalwork, structural steelwork, and bespoke fabrications. This role is primarily factory-based, with occasional site work when required.

Your role as a Fabricator Welder:

  • MIG and TIG welding (MMA advantageous)
  • Light and heavy fabrication
  • Structural steelwork and architectural metalwork
  • Manufacturing items including plates, brackets, balustrades, handrails, staircases, cabinets, machine casings, and general structural steel
  • Reading and working from fabrication drawings
  • Cutting materials, drilling, hole forming, assembly, and welding
  • Producing work clean and ready for final finishing
  • Maintaining high standards of quality and workmanship
  • Working safely in line with Health & Safety requirements

Requirements for this role:

  • Minimum 10 years' experience as a Fabricator Welder
  • Strong MIG and TIG welding experience (MMA an advantage)
  • Proven experience in light and heavy fabrication
  • Experience with structural steelwork
  • Confident reading and interpreting fabrication drawings
  • High attention to detail and pride in workmanship
  • Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
  • Willingness to attend site work when required

Hours of work:

  • Monday to Thursday: 07:30 - 16:30
  • Friday: 07:30 - 13:30
  • Occasional overtime available

Pay & benefits:

  • £18.00 per hour
  • Weekly pay
  • Holiday entitlement increasing with length of service
