Join Pure Staff and work as a Van Driver and Installer with our reliable and reputable long-term client in Bishop's Stortford. This is an ongoing role with the opportunity to be Temp to Perm for the right candidate.

Your role as a Van Driver and Installer in Bishop's Stortford
- Capable of lifting: deliver furniture weighing up to 50kg as part of a 2-person team
- Efficient & safe deliveries: ensure timely, accurate deliveries while adhering to safety regulations
- Communication: keep in regular contact with the depot and clients to ensure smooth operations
- Installation experience required: must be able to put furniture together using an electric drill
- Customer-facing: polite, presentable, and respectful to customers you are delivering to
Requirements
- A minimum 1-year experience as a van driver
- Must have held your driving licence for at least 2 years (for insurance purposes)
- No more than 6 points on your licence
- Minimum age +25 (due to insurance purposes)
- Good attention to detail ensuring safe loading and unloading of goods
- Reliable (on time for work and a good attendance record)
- Complete an online induction prior to starting work
- Available to start immediately in Bishop's Stortford
Pay
Pay Rate: £13.00ph to £14.57ph. Your hourly pay rate is £13.00, and you will accrue £1.57 per hour in holiday pay for every hour worked, which is banked and paid to you when you take annual leave. We do this to make sure our drivers are fairly paid and encouraged to take proper time off work as we believe regular rest is essential for safety and mental wellbeing of all workers.
