Pure Staff are currently recruiting Van Drivers for a care equipment delivery role based in Telford. This is a temporary, ad-hoc role. The role involves some handball and manual handling, delivering care and mobility equipment to residential and commercial locations.

Job Details

  • Pay Rate: £12.21 per hour
  • Contract Type: Temporary / Ad-hoc
  • Start Times: 6:00-7:00
  • Shift Length: 10-12 hours per shift
  • Drops: 10-15 deliveries per shift

Duties include:

  • Multi-drop delivery of care and mobility equipment
  • Some handball and manual handling
  • Ensuring safe, timely deliveries
  • Vehicle checks and basic delivery paperwork

Requirements

  • Minimum age 25+ (for insurance purposes)
  • Full UK driving licence held for at least 2 years
  • At least 1 year of delivery driving experience
  • Maximum 6 points on licence
  • No major endorsements
  • Reliable, professional, and customer-focused

Your hourly pay rate is £12.21, and you will accrue £1.47 per hour in holiday pay for every hour worked, which is banked and paid to you when you take annual leave. We do this to make sure our drivers are fairly paid and encouraged to take proper time off work as we believe regular rest is essential for safety and mental wellbeing of all workers.
