Pure Staff have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and reliable Class 1 Shunter to work Monday to Friday on an ongoing, potential Temp to Perm basis. This is a position with our great customer based in the Tamworth area, with immediate starts available.
Requirements:
- UK Category CE licence held for a minimum of 2 years
- At least 12 months Class 1 driving experience
- No more than 6 points on your licence
- Good communication skills
- Good knowledge of UK roads
- Flexible and reliable working attitude
Role Details:
- Monday to Friday
- Midday 12:00 to 00:00 Midnight
- Will involve shunting majority of Class 2 vehicles with some Class 1 vehicles also
- 12 hour shifts
- Being in constant communication with the Warehouse and Transport
- Driving assessment (90 mins) to be completed before starting role, fully paid
Pay Rates for Class 1 Shunter in Tamworth:
- Monday - Friday £17.00 per hour + £2.05ph holiday accrual
Your hourly pay rate is £17.00, and you will accrue £2.05 per hour in holiday pay for every hour worked, which is banked and paid to you when you take annual leave.
