Join Pure Staff and work as a Van Driver and Installer with our reliable and reputable long-term client in Bishop's Stortford. This is an ongoing role with the opportunity to be Temp to Perm for the right candidate.

Your role as a Van Driver and Installer in Bishop's Stortford:

  • Capable of lifting: deliver furniture weighing up to 50kg as part of a 2-person team
  • Efficient & safe deliveries: ensure timely, accurate deliveries while adhering to safety regulations
  • Communication: keep in regular contact with the depot and clients to ensure smooth operations
  • Installation experience required: must be able to put furniture together using an electric drill
  • Customer-facing: polite, presentable, and respectful to customers you are delivering to

Requirements:

  • A minimum 1-year experience as a van driver
  • Must have held your driving licence for at least 2 years (for insurance purposes)
  • No more than 6 points on your licence
  • Minimum age 25 (due to insurance purposes)
  • Good attention to detail ensuring safe loading and unloading of goods
  • Reliable (on time for work and a good attendance record)
  • Complete an online induction prior to starting work
  • Available to start immediately in Bishop's Stortford

Pay: £13.00 per hour to £14.57 per hour (Monday to Friday). Your hourly pay rate is £14.00, and you will accrue £1.57 per hour in holiday pay for every hour worked, which is banked and paid to you when you take annual leave.
