Pure Staff Birmingham are currently recruiting for an experienced Class 2 HIAB Driver to support one of our established clients based in the Clitheroe area. This role offers ongoing temporary work with the potential to secure a permanent position for the right candidate following a successful period.
This is a customer-facing role, so strong communication skills and a professional attitude are essential when dealing with customers, site staff, and colleagues on a daily basis.
The Role:
- 2-8 crane-assisted deliveries per shift
- Delivering building materials and equipment to construction sites and commercial locations
- Operating a HIAB crane for safe loading and unloading
- Manual handling involved as part of daily duties
- Providing excellent customer service at delivery points
- Start time: 07:30AM
- Finish time: 17:00PM
- Long working days may be expected depending on workload
Requirements:
- Valid UK Category C (Class 2) Licence
- Valid HIAB Certification (ALLMI or equivalent)
- In-date CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Minimum 1 year Class 2 driving experience required
- Maximum 6 penalty points (no DR, DD or IN endorsements)
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Professional, reliable, and punctual attitude
- Flexible approach to work and duties
Pay & Benefits:
- £15.00 per hour - Monday to Friday
