Pure Staff Birmingham are currently recruiting for experienced HGV Class 2 Drivers to support one of our customers situated in the Stoke-On-Trent area. This work is adhoc. If you fit the criteria below, please do not hesitate to apply.
The role for an HGV Class 2 driver includes:
- 4-8 deliveries/collections
- Nationwide deliveries
- Off-loading with pump-truck and tail lift
- Long hours
- Start times from 4AM to 10AM
To be a successful HGV Class 2 driver for this role you will need:
- UK Category C+E license
- In date Digi and CPC card
- 12 months minimum Class 2 driving experience
- Flexibility on shift patterns
- Reliable (on time for work and a good attendance record)
- No more than 6 points on your licence
Rates for an HGV Class 2 Driver:
£15ph to £17.37ph. Your hourly pay rate is £15.50 and you will accrue £1.87 per hour in holiday pay for every hour worked, which is banked and paid to you when you take annual leave. We do this to make sure our drivers are fairly paid and encouraged to take proper time off work as we believe regular rest is essential for safety and mental wellbeing of all workers.
Shifts are available Monday to Friday.
