Pure Staff Birmingham are currently recruiting an experienced 7.5 tonne driver to support one of our established customers based in the Dagenham area. This is ongoing work, with the potential for a permanent position for the right candidate.
The Role:
- 10-15 deliveries per shift (heating and plumbing supplies)
- Long-distance deliveries
- Off-loading using pump truck and tail lift
- Some handball involved
- Long working hours
- Start times from 7:00am
- Monday to Friday shifts
Requirements:
- Valid UK Category C1 licence
- In-date Digital Tachograph and CPC card
- Minimum 12 months' 7.5t driving experience
- No more than 6 points on your licence
- Flexible approach to shift patterns
- Reliable with excellent timekeeping and attendance
Pay Rates:
£14ph to £15.69ph. Your hourly pay rate is £14 and you will accrue £1.69 per hour in holiday pay for every hour worked, which is banked and paid to you when you take annual leave. We do this to make sure our drivers are fairly paid and encouraged to take proper time off work as we believe regular rest is essential for safety and mental wellbeing of all workers.
