Pure Staff Birmingham are currently recruiting for experienced Class 2 Drivers to support one of our clients based in the Barnsley area. Following a successful induction, this is an ongoing role with the potential for a permanent position.

The Role - Class 2 Driver
  • 1-5 deliveries per day (depending on the run)
  • Local depot deliveries
  • Start times from 6:00 AM after induction
  • Long working hours
  • Moving built kitchen units to the rear of the vehicle for offloading
  • Off-loading using a pump truck and tail lift
  • Heavy handball involved - good level of fitness required
Induction Details
  • Day 1 & 2: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
  • Ongoing role following successful completion
Requirements
  • A valid UK Category C (Class 2) licence
  • In-date Digi Tacho and CPC card
  • Minimum of 1 year's Class 2 driving experience
  • Flexibility with shift patterns
  • A reliable and punctual work ethic
  • No more than 6 penalty points on your licence
Pay Rate
  • Monday to Friday: £16 per hour
  • Shifts Available Monday to Friday
