Duties:
- Procurement & Inventory Support: raise and manage purchase orders for raw materials, components, and supplies; communicate with suppliers to confirm pricing, lead times, and delivery accuracy; monitor stock levels and alert relevant teams to potential shortages or delays.
- Logistics & Transport Booking: schedule collections and deliveries with logistics providers; prepare delivery documentation (packing lists, labels, shipping notes) as required; track shipments and ensure on-time deliveries to customers and distribution partners.
- Product Setup & Data Management: create and maintain product records in ERP or inventory systems; input product specifications, pricing, and categorisation details accurately; support updates to product catalogues, BOMs (bills of materials), and system data as needed.
- Customer Service & Order Management: serve as a point of contact for customer queries, providing timely and professional support via phone and email; accurately process customer orders, ensuring compliance with stock levels, pricing, and delivery schedules; coordinate with production and warehouse teams to track order status and resolve any issues.
Skills:
- Prior experience in an administrative, operations, or logistics support role ideally within a manufacturing or distribution environment.
- Familiarity with supply chain processes, order systems, and transport coordination.
- Strong computer skills, especially in Excel and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, Sage).
