Pure Staff are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Stock Controller for our client based in Daventry. This role is mainly warehouse-based, with some office and administrative duties included. You will play a key part in maintaining accurate stock records, supporting warehouse operations, and ensuring smooth communication across departments.
Responsibilities
- Checking stock location accuracy
- Counting stock and ensuring items are stored correctly
- Completing stock investigations and supporting stock management tasks
- Assisting with returns processes (training provided), involving heavy lifting
- Using MS Office and email systems for stock administration
- Handling incoming and outgoing calls and emails professionally
- Using initiative to resolve issues as they arise
- Working closely with the Customer Service team to ensure issues are logged and resolved quickly
- Supporting general warehouse operations as required
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment
- Experience as a stock controller (ESSENTIAL)
- Confident with MS Office and email communication
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to work independently and use initiative
- Physically fit due to warehouse duties and lifting requirements
Additional Requirements
- MHE licence highly desirable
- Willingness to be trained is essential
- Onsite training available for all relevant processes
