Join Pure Staff and work as a Warehouse Operative / Van Driver with our reliable and reputable long-term client in Hayes. Starts available immediately for the right candidates!
Pure Staff provide ongoing temporary (and temporary to permanent) recruitment services to this client in seven of their UK locations. We have supplied this customer since 2020 and have helped over 70 people go on to obtain a permanent contract with this fantastic company in the last two years, and we are recruiting for them again! While we can’t guarantee permanent employment for everyone, our temporary Warehouse/ Operatives are provided with ongoing agency work (with no fixed end date).

Your role as a Warehouse Operative / Van Driver
You will usually start out as a Picker using a hand scanner to pick to orders. After an initial settling in period, you will be targeted to achieve a reasonable number of picks each day.
You may also work in other areas of the Warehouse doing different work such as putting items away, packing, loading and unloading. Every aspect of the Warehouse Operation is important and valued. Add may ask to go out for delivery work. Often, you’ll be asked to go out do deliveries and collection to garages.
Requirements
- A good attitude towards achieving your targets and supporting colleagues
- Good attention to detail (it’s vital the correct parts are picked)
- Reliable (on time for work and a good attendance record)
- Available to start immediately
- Full UK driving licence (held for at least 1 year)
- Maximum 6 penalty points
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and positive attitude
- Able to carry out pre-delivery checks confidently
£12.26 per hour (Monday to Friday) + Holiday Entitlement + Pension auto enrolment. Timely, accurate & reliable payment. Weekly payslips.
