The role is physically demanding, involving heavy handball and manual handling.\\n\\nJob Details\\n\\nPay Rate: £12.21 per hour\\nContract Type: Temporary / Ad-hoc (ongoing work for the right candidate)\\nStart Times/Shift Length: 06:00 (10-12 hours) or 12:00 (5-6 hours)\\nDrops: 10-15 deliveries per shift \\n\\nDuties include:\\nMulti-drop tyre deliveries\\nHeavy handball and manual handling\\nCompleting deliveries safely and on time\\nVehicle checks and basic paperworkRequirements\\n\\nMinimum age 25+ (for insurance purposes)\\nFull UK driving licence held for at least 2 years\\nAt least 1 year of delivery driving experience\\nMaximum 6 points on licence\\nNo major endorsements\\nPhysically fit and comfortable with heavy manual work\\nReliable, punctual, and professional attitude\\nHappy with both deliveries of new tyres and collections of scrap tyres\\nContactable throughout shift\\nWilling to call and report failed deliveries or issues as and when they happen\\nEnsure all paperwork is completed to the required standard\\nAble to unload and load vehicle as and when required\\nMust have Hi-vis and steel toe-cap safety bootsWhat We Offer\\n\\nFlexible, ad-hoc shifts with ongoing opportunities\\nWeekly pay\\nConsistent work when available\\nSupport from the Pure Staff transport team \\n\\nYour hourly pay rate is £12.21, and you will accrue £1.47 per hour in holiday pay for every hour worked, which is banked and paid to you when you take annual leave. We do this to make sure our drivers are fairly paid and encouraged to take proper time off work as we believe regular rest is essential for safety and mental wellbeing of all workers.\\n\\nWhile working with Pure Staff, you're employed and paid directly by us – no umbrella companies, no processing fees, no outsourced payroll – just simple PAYE with accurate, on-time payslips directly from our experienced in-house payroll team.
