As Logistics Operations Manager, you\'ll play a pivotal role in delivering operational excellence across our logistics network. Key responsibilities include: Leading and developing a high-performing team, fostering a culture of safety and engagement. Driving effective communication across leadership teams to ensure performance expectations and goals are met. Championing a behavioural-based safety culture with a focus on best-in-class safety standards. Ensuring compliance with all transport legislation including Tachograph laws and the Road Traffic Act. Monitoring performance against KPIs and budgetary targets, implementing improvements as needed. Overseeing fleet operations to ensure vehicles are maintained and service schedules are met. Ensuring customer satisfaction through exceptional service delivery. Leading investigations efficiently and accurately. Supporting succession planning by developing and nurturing internal talent. The Person We\'re looking for someone who can hit the ground running and bring energy, experience, and expertise to the team. You\'ll need: Proven experience in a high-volume, fast-paced logistics environment. Strong interpersonal and communication skills across all levels - both internally and with customers. A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a \"can-do\" attitude. Demonstrable success in influencing change and managing conflict. Experience managing a diverse fleet and ensuring compliance with service schedules. The flexibility to adapt to the demands of a 24/7 business operation. CPC qualification (National & International) is desirable, but not essential. The role is primarily Monday to Friday, 08:00-17:00, but candidates should be prepared for a high level of flexibility, including occasional weekend and evening work, due to the nature of our 24/7 operations (INDPERM)
