12-Week Temp-to-Perm Role
Pure Staff Birmingham are currently recruiting experienced Class 1 (C+E) Tramper Drivers for a well-established customer in the Warwick area. This is a 12-week temp-to-perm position, giving the successful candidate the opportunity to secure a permanent role after completing the temporary period.
This role involves nationwide deliveries and collections of metal fencing products, with strapping and manual handling required as part of the job.
The Role
- Nationwide deliveries and collections of metal fencing products
- 1-2 deliveries/collections per day
- Tramping Monday to Friday
- 06:00am start time
- No weekend work
- Loads are pre-picked, with drivers assisting with loading and unloading
- Handball involved when required
- Strapping and securing loads safely (essential)
- Ensuring load safety and compliance at all times
Driver Requirements
- Valid UK Class 1 (Category C+E) licence
- In-date CPC and Digi card
- Minimum 1 year Class 1 driving experience
- Experience strapping and securing loads
- Comfortable with manual handling / handball duties
- No more than 6 points on licence (no major endorsements)
- Reliable, professional, and comfortable with tramping work
£25 per night out allowance for any overnight stays.
