Position: Flexographic Printing Operative
Pure Staff are currently recruiting for a Flexographic Printing Operative on behalf of our fantastic and long-standing client based in Pershore, Worcestershire.
This is a great opportunity to join a stable and well-established manufacturing business, working with wide web flexographic printing presses within a fast-paced production environment.
Your Role as a Flexographic Printing Operative
- Setting up and printing high-quality designs up to 8 colours onto flexible plastic substrates and paper.
- Maintaining a high level of quality, accuracy and productivity to ensure the efficient day-to-day running of wide web flexographic printing presses.
- Ensuring press speeds are optimised, maximising uptime and minimising downtime while maintaining safe and efficient operation.
- Following appropriate troubleshooting procedures and escalating maintenance issues where required.
- Taking a proactive approach to machine performance, observing processes and identifying any issues that may arise.
- Assessing and evaluating root causes, using problem-solving skills to rectify issues quickly and effectively.
- Reporting issues to the Quality department that may affect output throughout the shift.
Requirements
- Previous flexographic printing experience, minimum 3-5 years.
- Knowledge of lamination and slitting processes.
- Experience of mounting processes.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proactive approach to problem solving and continuous improvement.

£15.00 - £18.00 per hour depending on experience.
48 hours per week across 4 days.
18:30 - 06:30 .
