Pay Rates
- Monday to Friday: £12.76 per hour
- Equivalent to £14.30 per hour including value of holiday pay
- Holiday pay accrued separately and paid when you book time off
About the Role
Pure Staff are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative on behalf of a well-established business within the automotive industry in Avonmouth. This is an excellent opportunity for a Warehouse Operative seeking a long-term part-time role with the potential to increase to full-time hours in the future.
Working within a clean and organised warehouse environment, you will play a key role in ensuring customer orders are accurately picked, packed and prepared for distribution.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Picking automotive parts using handheld scanners
- Accurately selecting products against customer orders
- Packing products ready for dispatch
- Putting stock away within warehouse locations
- Supporting stock movement and warehouse replenishment activities
- Assisting with warehouse running duties as required
- Working towards daily productivity targets
- Maintaining accuracy and attention to detail at all times
- Following site health and safety procedures
- Supporting other warehouse functions when required
Shift Pattern
- Thursday and Friday
- 08:30am – 06:00pm
- 30 minutes break per shift
- Long-term ongoing assignment
- Potential opportunity to move into a 5-day working week in the future
- Additional paid hours may be available when required
Requirements
The successful Warehouse Operative will require:
- Previous warehouse experience is desirable
- Experience using handheld scanners would be advantageous
- Ability to work towards performance targets
- Strong attention to detail
- Reliable and punctual approach to work
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- High-visibility vest
- Plain dark workwear suitable for warehouse duties
